2025 Turkey Trot Grant Program

Eligible tax-exempt charitable organizations serving the Shandon community are invited to apply for the Turkey Trot Grant, offering up to $3,000 for projects that benefit the neighborhood. To apply, submit a complete application form, including a description of the proposed project, measurable outcomes, a recent bank statement, and proof of 501(c)(3) status. Applications must be received by January 15, 2025, at 11:59 PM. Confirmation will follow within 48 hours of submission.


Key Neighborhood Improvement Priorities:

Parks: 23.47% of respondents prioritize improvements to parks.

Sidewalks: 22.45% want better sidewalks.

Trees: 21.43% support tree-related projects.

Streets: 16.33% focus on street improvements.

General Neighborhood Improvements: 15.31% highlight broader improvements in the area.

City-related Projects: 13.27% of respondents are interested in city-wide improvements.

“Better” Theme: 10.20% of respondents mentioned a need for “better” infrastructure and services.

Shandon Neighborhood: 9.18% of feedback focused on Shandon-specific projects.

Newsletter Opt-in: 94.23% are interested in receiving neighborhood updates via email.

Input Sessions: 86.36% are willing to attend public sessions on neighborhood improvements.
